Startups Nigeria is the hub for partnerships, advice and resources for Nigeria's growing Web 2.0&Internet economy. This page summarises how we protect your privacy while using the website.
What data do we collect?
Startups Nigeria does not collect any other personal information apart from those requested at signup or registration. These include your name, occupation, location, date of birth, email address, website and biographical information. Only your name and email are required and details can always be changed after succesful log on. Apart from the information we collect directly, the Startupsnigeria.org will inadvertently collect data from your computer such as "cookies", IP data and browser information mostly for convenience and analytics purposes. As with most dynamic websites, collection of these data is completely safe and will not compromise your safety while using the site.
As the website is in private beta, we currently do not give users the ability to remove their accounts themselves. If you have any concerns about your details and wish to remove/delete your account and data completely, please email dev-team@startupsnigeria.org using "Account Deletion" as the subject.
Will we share your information with third parties or external organisations?
Your email address and personal details will not be shared with any
third parties or external organisations but we may contact you
regarding other products and services offered by Startups Nigeria in
the future.
You are entitled to know whether we hold
information about you and, if we do, to have access to that information and require it to be
corrected if it is inaccurate. You can do this by sending us an e-mail.
